Being dead, Snowkit couldn't hear her greeting. Instead, he just flicked his tail and continued watching her, sitting down and wrapping his tail around his paws.
Graystripe limped into the medicine cat den, his great yellow eyes glazed with pain. He had been chasing a squirrel earlier, and he had been foolish enough to follow it into the thornbush by the Shadow Clan border. He was covered in a bunch of thorns, ears to tail tip, and when he sat down in the cool wet grass of Leafpool's and Jayfeather's den, he let out a small gasp of pain.
"Leafpool?" he meowed out loudly so that she would hear him. "Leafpool?!"
Graystripe followed the sound of Leafpool's voice, letting out small grunts of pain occasionally. The thorns that were stuck all over him became more noticeable as he came better into view.
"See...I was chasing a squirrel earlier and it ran into a thorn bush..." He started to trail off, thinking that she could probably guess what had happened.
well he is dead too, but still... ))
"Leafpool?" he meowed out loudly so that she would hear him. "Leafpool?!"
